નવી દિલ્હી: નેશનલ પેમેન્ટ્સ કોર્પોરેશન ઓફ ઈન્ડિયા (NPCI) એ યુનિફાઇડ પેમેન્ટ્સ ઇન્ટરફેસ (UPI) પર ટ્રાન્ઝેક્શન મર્યાદામાં ફેરફારની જાહેરાત કરી છે. નવા નિયમો અનુસાર, વપરાશકર્તાઓ હવે ચકાસાયેલ વેપારીઓને દરરોજ રૂ.10 લાખ સુધીના હાઈ-વેલ્યૂ પેમેન્ટ કરી શકશે. આ પગલું વીમા, કેપિટલ માર્કેટ્સ, ટ્રાવેલ, એજ્યુકેશન ફી અને સરકારી ઈ-માર્કેટપ્લેસ (GeM) જેવા ક્ષેત્રોને સીધી અસર કરશે.
NPCI દ્વારા બહાર પાડવામાં આવેલા પરિપત્ર અનુસાર, વીમા અને મૂડી બજારમાં રોકાણ માટેની મર્યાદા પ્રતિ ટ્રાન્ઝેક્શન રૂ.2 લાખમાંથી વધારીને રૂ.5 લાખ કરવામાં આવી છે, જ્યારે દૈનિક કુલ મર્યાદા રૂ.10 લાખ નક્કી કરવામાં આવી છે. આથી, ગ્રાહકો હવે ઊંચી મૂલ્યની પ્રિમિયમ પેમેન્ટ અથવા રોકાણ માટે સરળતાથી UPIનો ઉપયોગ કરી શકશે.
સરકારી ઈ-માર્કેટપ્લેસ પર કર ચુકવણી અને અર્નેસ્ટ મની ડિપોઝિટ (EMD) જેવી ચુકવણી માટેની મર્યાદા પણ સુધારીને રૂ.5 લાખ પ્રતિ ટ્રાન્ઝેક્શન કરવામાં આવી છે.
ક્રેડિટ કાર્ડ બિલ પેમેન્ટ માટે પ્રતિ ટ્રાન્ઝેક્શન મર્યાદા રૂ.5 લાખ નક્કી કરવામાં આવી છે, જ્યારે દૈનિક કુલ મર્યાદા રૂ.6 લાખ રાખવામાં આવી છે.
જો કે, વ્યક્તિ-થી-વ્યક્તિ (P2P) પેમેન્ટની દૈનિક મર્યાદા રૂ.1 લાખ જ યથાવત રહેશે.
